What a great responsibility to teach kids, for the Kingdom of God belongs to them. You will find great peace, joy and fulfillment in teaching kids. Let the following be a guideline for you:

Ask for wisdom.

If any of you lacks wisdom [to guide him through a decision or circumstance], he is to ask of [our benevolent] God, who gives to everyone generously and without rebuke or blame, and it will be given to him. But he must ask [for wisdom] in faith, without doubting [God’s willingness to help], for the one who doubts is like a billowing surge of the sea that is blown about and tossed by the wind. For such a person ought not to think or expect that he will receive anything [at all] from the Lord, being a double-minded man, unstable and restless in all his ways [in everything he thinks, feels, or decides]. (James 1:5-6)

Teach the kids to love Jesus Christ and His words and commands, then they will love the Kingdom as Jesus loves the Kingdom!

If you [really] love Me, you will keep (obey) My commands (John 14:15)

Teach the kids to pray.

Our Father Who is in heaven, hallowed (kept holy) be Your name. Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our sins (debts), as we also have forgiven (left, remitted, and let go of the sins –debts-, and have given up resentment against) our debtors. And lead (bring) us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. (Matthew 6:9-13)

Teach the kids to desire the gifts of the Holy Spirit so that it can govern their emotions.

But the fruit of the [Holy] Spirit [the work which His presence within accomplishes] is love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence), faithfulness, gentleness (meekness, humility), self-control (self-restraint, continence). Against such things there is no law [that can bring a charge].
(Galatians 5:22-23)

Teach the kids to prophesy.

In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.
(Acts 2:17)

Teach the kids to pray that the mind of Christ and His thoughts, will and purposes will manifest in their lives and hearts.

For who has known or understood the mind (the counsels and purposes) of the Lord so as to guide and instruct Him and give Him knowledge? But we have the mind of Christ (the Messiah) and do hold the thoughts (feelings and purposes) of His heart. (1 Corinthians 2:16)

Teach the kids to seek God's wisdom and will for their abilities and talents.

Train up a child in the way he should go [teaching him to seek God’s wisdom and will for his abilities and talents],
Even when he is old he will not depart from it. (Proverbs 22:6)

Teach the kids that they are loved.

For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him. (John 3:16-17)

Teach the kids to love God, themselves and other people, and how to do it practically.

Jesus replied: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. (Matthew 22:37)

Teach the kids the parables of Jesus.

Teach the kids to creatively express love, joy, sadness and frustration through applying stories from the Bible as guidelines. Let them express all that they are in color, nature, art and music. Give place for individuality.

Teach the kids to solve problems and to think outside of the box. Use Bible stories to give them examples of how problems in biblical times were resolved and ask them for alternative solutions to the problems.

Teach the kids to laugh and to have fun in the Word of God. Build play parks for children in such a manner that they are able to learn and love every Bible story in a fun and playful way.
